Teen Style Tuesday- The Graduate

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope everyone is out of school or prepping for the final days like I am! This week I have newly graduated, 17 year old Michael from AZ as a guest editor repping Teen Style for dudes this summer! I hope you all enjoy his look c/o of AFashionFiend.com and styled by yours truly! Since the main stream trend has been the summer of exposed arms, I put Michael  in this fab grey tee and the color of the summer, white. Michael is a basketball player so his tall, muscular frame virtually works with everything. This dude lives in high tops so I decked him out in what else- deck shoes! I hope you all have some awesome summer plans, I’ll be posting from all of my mini stay cations and travels in these hot months! Email me if you have any jet set questions, I am a well seasoned traveler! Adios Amigos – see you next week!

Chillin on a Dirt Road

As a teen in the 90’s, that decade has a huge influence on my wardrobe. I constantly am buying graphic tees, plaid over sized shirts and you guessed it, overalls. While I was tempted to pop a shoulder and really bring it back for you guys, hello NKOTB, I choose to keep it all together with my white knit sweater. Even though we’re heading into the summer months, this top isn’t heavy or too warm at all. The loose weave keeps it super easy breezy! It’s almost Friday! Thanks for checking in!

Teen Style Tuesday- Spring Fling

Hi everyone!

I’m enjoying the warm weather so much lately! It’s been a real treat to have the sun shining and the humidity staying low here in Houston. My outfit today was inspired by the pretty pastels of Easter. I love dying eggs and decorating my house with little white bunnies. My lacy top is perfect for breezy days and I love the feminine flow of long skirts. Hope your week is awesome!

Teen Style Tuesday- Turbo Turban

Hello, hello! I hope all of you had an amazing Thanksgiving! Mine was pretty low key, just my parents and I. We stayed home because our dog just had puppies and we couldn’t travel with them back home to AZ. But it was cool, the food was delish and the puppies opened their eyes over the weekend so I was pretty happy we stayed. I was given this turban recently and wasn’t sure exactly how to wear it. I’ve seen it in Teen Vogue but I didn’t know how it would look on me. Turns out, it looks so good! I love the navy and grey color combo, especially in these cooler months. And  the turban actually helped keep me warm! Grey is one of my favorite colors so any chance I can wear it year round, I will. Since it’s sweater weather, I dressed up my outfit a little by adding this super cute hig-low skirt. I wore this little number to my informal piano recital. The little skull embellishments on my flats give me some bling cuz I’m not all the into jewelry. Hope you guys are feeling the holiday spirit as much as I am! Have a great week!

Houndstooth in the Rain

The weather in Houston is so up and down and it seems like its impossible to look cute during a down pour. There is a rainy season in every season here in Houston so, when I had to get ready for a day of errands in the wet weather, I was so happy to find a cute and comfortable combo that would keep me dry and stylish while running around. Houndstooth is such a classic print and I adore it! I actually scored these rain boots on sale randomly at Target. I paired it with black skinny jeans and a knit sweater that kept me dry but wasn’t too hot. I threw on an oxblood colored scarf for a pop of color and to put around my shoulders if I got chilly. A perfect paring for the fickle weather in H-town.
